EDMONTON - The name Ted Morton lives on in government emails, but Frederick Lee is history.
Energy Minister Ted Morton says he no longer uses his real first and second names in a secondary email address.
He says there's no point because official changes to email use are on the way.
A former Morton staffer had accused his old boss of using "Frederick Lee" on internal emails to evade freedom of information searches.
Information and Privacy commissioner Frank Work investigated and ruled there was no evidence Morton was trying to duck the public.
But Work said he would be making recommendations to clarify the use of names on government emails.
