Toronto Cyclist Assault: Matthew Nettleton, Driver, Allegedly Struck Woman With Car

A Toronto driver has been charged with assault with a weapon after a confrontation with a cyclist on Wednesday morning.

According to police the driver and the cyclist became involved in dispute near the corner of Ossington Avenue and Harbord Street.

The driver allegedly forced the woman to cycle onto the sidewalk and then hit her with his car, then speeding off.

Matthew Nettleton, 38, turned himself in to police later in the day.

He has been charged with failure to stop after an accident, dangerous operation and assault with a weapon.
