It's Stephen Harper who usually makes headlines with his musical performances, but now Bob Rae is getting in on the action just in time for Christmas.
The interim Liberal leader sings Christmas carols in a series of clips posted to the Liberal party's YouTube channel on Tuesday.
Rae is joined by children from Dixon Hall Music School, a centre which provides low-cost musical instruction to kids from low-income families.
In the videos, Rae plays the piano while singing along with the children. They perform Silent Night, Feliz Navidad (I Want To Wish You A Merry Christmas), Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, Same Boat Now and The Mummer's Song.
While Rae has pledged not to run to become permanent Liberal leader, it certainly would be something to see the former Ontario premier debate Harper musically in the next election. At the very least, it might improve the ratings.
