Chinatown Stabbing Victim Dies

A woman stabbed at a restaurant in Toronto's Chinatown in late December has died.

Police said Guang Lu, 45, was stabbed in the neck at about 2:10 p.m. on Dec. 28 at 536 Dundas Street West.

She died of her injuries in hospital on New Year's Eve, police said.

Chi Kuan of Toronto, 57, is charged with second-degree murder.

He's scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday.
