Kingsbury leads qualifying at Canada Post Grand Prix as Bilodeau falters

SAINTE-ADELE, Que. - New Canadian ski star Mikael Kingsbury won the dual moguls event today at the Canada Post Grand Prix at Ski Mont Gabriel.

The 19-year-old from Ste-Agathe, Que., continued his strong start to the season, beating out Jeremy Cotta of the United Sates and Andrey Volkov of Russia for the World Cup win.

American Olympic champion Hannah Kearney took first place on the women's side, ahead of Justine Dufour-Lapointe of Montreal and Ekaterina Stolyarova of Russia.

Meanwhile, Canada's Olympic moguls champion Alex Bilodeau faltered in his return to the circuit.

The 24-year-old from Montreal missed his landing in a jump during qualifying.
