22 Minutes: Mitt Romney Grilled By Comedian Mark Critch At South Carolina Republican Primary (VIDEO)

WATCH: Canadian Comedian Crashes Romney Event

The show's Mark Critch traveled down south to meet with the GOP hopefuls and quiz them on their Canadian connections.

In the clip above, Critch poses as a reporter from Grand Bend, Ontario, a cottage community where Romney spent time as a youth.

The ploy works like a charm, luring the Republican front-runner in so Critch can fire off questions about Romney's mastery of the French language, his stance on the Keystone pipeline and whether anything can be done about Randy Quaid.

Critch then watches Romney give a rousing speech, but worries that the giant sign reading "concession" might be a bit of a bad omen. Looks like he was right.

This Hour Has 22 Minutes airs Tuesdays at 8:30 pm on CBC TV. Catch more clips of the show on Facebook and Twitter.
