Nine of the 10 most expensive houses for sale in Canada at the end of February were located in two cities -- Toronto and Vancouver -- and the tenth was located in Toronto's cottage country, a sure reflection of the housing booms in many of Canada's largest cities.

And in what may be a sign of just how concentrated wealth is becoming in this country, six of the top 10 houses were located on just three streets -- Drummond Road, West Cordova Street and The Crescent, all in Vancouver.

In all, the 10 houses ranged in price from $17.8 million to $31.9 million. The most expensive houses for sale that weren't in Toronto or Vancouver were a nine-bedroom palace in Montreal's Ile-Bizard ($15 million); an 11-bedroom McMansion on Montreal's west island ($15 million); and a three-bedroom gated "trophy estate" in Edmonton ($15 million).

Additionally, three of the Top 10 properties were condos, reflecting what StatsCan recently found -- that Canadians are growing increasingly urban and moving into multiple-dwelling units.

Here are the top 10 most expensive homes for sale in Canada at the end of February.
