Concordia students vote to join strike

Concordia students have voted to join Quebec's growing strike movement, estimated to include 125,000 CÉGEP and university students.

Students at Concordia voted Wednesday night to support the action against tuition increases, scheduled to take effect later this year.

They are the first major English-language school to join the strike.

An amendment to the Concordia vote means striking students won't prevent others from attending class.
