Hundreds of people have gathered in Toronto to stage a rally marking the 53rd Tibetan National Uprising.
The march started in Parkdale at around 10 a.m. and headed east on Queen Street West towards Yonge Street.
The group then planned to head north on Yonge Street towards Yonge and Dundas Square.
The march is affecting traffic on Yonge Street.
The rally is planned for 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
It commemorates March 10, 1959, when a revolt occurred in Lhasa against Chinese rule.
