As we welcome the first day of spring (and the unseasonably warm temps it brings with it this year), we'd like to coin a term: spinter. Yes, spinter. Definition: that weird in-between weather period (winter and spring) when people aren't sure what to wear; you'd like to bare your legs in shorts, but because of the chill you still need a jacket.
Spinter -- which usually begins in March and April -- brings out the sartorial worst in people. Even those who love fashion can fall prey to the maddening mix of climate shifts and wardrobe blunders this time of year brings.
To help coach you through this confusing middle season, we've compiled a guide on what not to wear right now. We've also included some handy tips on what you should reach for instead.
