Flair (as in crazy slogan buttons). Wigs. Waves of purple, aqua, green, yellow and orange.

Haute couture, it's not. But some of the style statements we caught glimpses of at NDP Leadership Convention in Toronto were -- to say the least -- impressive.

Starting early Friday, people flocked to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre decked out in duds devoted to supporting their choice candidates. Crews of supporters even coordinated their outfits. Peggy Nash fans wore purple tees; Niki Ashton supporters wore aqua scarves -- Nathan Cullen's green; Paul Dewar voting delegates sported orange; and Thomas Mulcair's clan donned black.
