2 men stabbed in downtown Toronto

Two men were stabbed near Sherbourne and Shuter streets in Toronto on Saturday afternoon.

EMS said they were called to the scene at about 3:30 p.m.

There was blood on the sidewalk and in an alley in the area, and the lobby of an apartment building was cordoned off.

A 25-year-old man was transported to St. Michael's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after suffering multiple wounds to his torso.

The second man, 55, was transported to hospital by police. He had suffered minor cuts.
