Mississauga man charged in fatal stabbing

An 18-year-old Mississauga man is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with a stabbing near the Islington subway station early Friday.

The incident happened near the intersection of Bloor Street West and Aberfoyle Crescent early Friday. The victim was identified as Khadeem Antoine, 19, of Toronto. He was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital where he died of multiple stab wounds.

The 18-year-old accused in the death was arrested Friday and appeared in a downtown courtroom on Saturday.
