Justin Trudeau Boxing: Patrick Brazeau And Liberal MP Go UFC Ahead Of Weigh-Ins

The hype over the Justin Trudeau boxing match with Tory Senator Patrick Brazeau has already reached fever pitch, but that hasn't stopped organizers from releasing a poster ripped from the playbook of one of the greatest publicity machines on earth.

The Thrilla on the Hilla has gone UFC.

The new image is directly inspired by the fight organization which has become a sensation in Canada and made homegrown martial artists, such as Georges St. Pierre, household names.

Just because the poster is inspired by the UFC, doesn't mean the fight will be. The bout will be Olympic rules, which means headgear and no kicking. Too bad, because a UFC mixed-martial arts battle would allow Brazeau to show off his karate skills. The Tory Senator is a second-degree black belt.

The poster's release comes just days before the two fighters will weigh in at The Aulde Dubliner pub in Ottawa's ByWard Market on Wednesday evening. The charity fight itself will take place on Saturday March 31 and will be televised live on the Sun News Network..
