Vancouver police are investigating a string of arsons in the Grandview Woodlands neighbourhood after nine were set over the last three weeks.
"All fires happened between 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m, and the fires have included vehicles, sofas, mattresses and garbage," said Vancouver police Const. Lindsey Houghton.
"The only connection that investigators have found that links these incidents together is the general geographic area where they've occurred."
Houghton said no one has been injured in the fires and the total damage is estimated at around $30,000.
