Minute 16: People, Put Your Pants On (PHOTOS)

Why We Are Tired Of Seeing People Pant-Less

By definition, trends are fleeting. They're ephemeral. And each day we see our fair share of looks we'd like to remove from our sartorial lexicon. So join us, each week, as we analyze a trend that's had its 15 minutes of fame. These looks are well into their Minute 16, folks. It's time to usher them toward stage left.

The Trend: When you think spring, you may think flowy skirts, floral dresses and big fun hats. But when it comes to putting together outfits for changing weather conditions, we're not sure why celebrities keep forgetting their pants. Yes, we get some tunics and long tanks can be pulled off as dresses, but when you feel the wind hitting your butt cheeks -- it's time to find those pants and put them back on.

Chief Offenders: The list is endless. From Kourtney Kardashian strutting the streets of Los Angeles pant-less to Christina Aguilera walking around with only stockings and heels, this trend makes us wonder when pants suddenly became optional. Other offenders include Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Nicole Scherzinger.

What's Wrong With It: What's wrong with it? What's right!? Making a statement with fashion is one thing, but appearing to "forget" your pants is just plain lazy. Oh, and let us remind you that leggings are not pants.

May We Suggest: If you're not a fan of pants -- try other bottoms like jeggings, stockings, cropped pants, shorts and even mini skirts. This way, at least your legs can feel free, but your bottom doesn't have to. We also recommend trying maxi skirts, maxi dresses and pleated skirts this spring, proving that just because you're covered doesn't mean you're not trendy. And if you really hate any type of coverage, we give up. Just make sure you don't sit on any hot surfaces.
