Danielle Smith tells chanting supporters that PC's day is done

CALGARY - Alberta Wildrose Leader Danielle Smith told cheering supporters in Calgary this afternoon that the province will only have to endure one more day of Progressive Conservative rule.

Smith told about 400 supporters that Premier Alison Redford doesn't deserve another four years or even another day, saying her government hasn't managed to get things right in the past 41 years.

Any facade of civility went out the window as Smith accused Redford of mounting a non-stop smear campaign against her party.

She also accused the Conservatives of taking all of their campaign direction from Eastern Liberals.

Smith told reporters she's at peace going into Monday's vote.

She said she will wake up on election day and not have any regrets about the campaign her party ran.
