'Mansome' Is More Than Handsome: The Rise Of Male Beauty Trends (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

Sugaring and waxing, getting hair dyed, painting nails, buying high-end razors: all are things only women do in the name of beauty, right?

Well, not so fast.

A new documentary 'Mansome' -- directed by Morgan Spurlock and produced by Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Ben Silverman -- weighs in on the definition of masculinity in a world where hipster facial hair and men's follicles are being analyzed in a way they never have been before.

Studies show men now spend more time than women getting ready to go out; they even shill out more moola on high-end products. In fact, the Daily Mail reports, "men spend 83 minutes a day on personal grooming, including cleansing, toning and moisturising, shaving, styling hair and choosing clothes." And the U.K. site 'Ape To Gentleman' reports, "men are now spending £11.72 per week on grooming products compared to their female counterparts who spend exactly one pound less."

Check out the just released trailer above. (The film will have its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this month and will hit limited theaters across the country early this summer on May 18th.)
