Stephen Harper's Day Off: Ferris Bueller Parody Is Hilarious (VIDEO)

WATCH: Stephen Harper As Ferris Bueller

What would Stephen Harper do with a day off? If a new video is right, he might take some cues from Ferris Bueller.

The Sketchersons, a sketch comedy troupe based in Toronto, have released a YouTube video in which the PM mimics famous scenes from the '80s classic.

Played by Ian MacIntyre, Harper calls in sick to the Governor General to avoid having to handle more questions about the F-35 purchase. But Harper knows he can't keep getting away with these sorts of shenanigans.

"This is the third time I've shut down Parliament, including prorogues, getting pretty tough coming up with new excuses. If I go for a fourth, I'm probably going to have to invade Montana. So I'm going to have to make this one count."

So what does Harper end up doing with his time off? Does he steal a Ferrari, fake out a maître d' and watch a baseball game? No, he has other plans. You'll just have to watch to find out.
