Toronto's first marathon of the year will close roads from Yonge and Sheppard all the way to the Lake Shore on Sunday.

The closures will begin at about 7 a.m. and won't end until after noon as approximately 15,000 runners make their way to the finish line at Ontario Place.
The Toronto Goodlife Marathon begins near Mel Lastman Square at 7:30 a.m. The half marathon starts an hour later.
A long stretch of Yonge Street will be closed from north of Sheppard Aveune to Aylmer Street, beginning at 5 a.m.
On and off ramps on Highway 401, the Don Valley Parkway and the Gardiner Expressway will be affected. Rosedale Valley Road and some parts of Lakeshore Boulevard will be among a number of city streets closed for part of the day.
