Boy with cerebral palsy gives soldier dad a special homecoming

A North Carolina marine got a homecoming from Afghanistan to remember when his six-year-old son with cerebral palsy walked for the first time.

Video of the heart-warming reunion between Staff Sgt. Jeremy Cooney and Michael has gone viral on YouTube, with more than 730,000 views.

Doctors said Michael would likely never walk, but the little boy didn't give up, and while dad was away, he worked hard at making that happen.

In the video, Cooney crouches down to greet his son as the youngster walks toward his father in a gym at Camp Lejeune, and then the two share a long hug.
