Bodies of two Montreal men pulled from water in provincial park after drowning

OKA, Que. - The bodies of two young Montreal men who drowned Saturday at a provincial park were pulled from the water today.

The men, aged 19 and 22, walked into the water at Oka beach near Montreal and lost their footing, getting pulled in deeper.

It appears neither man knew how to swim.

Emergency crews were called to the scene but were unable to save the pair.

Quebec provincial police say their bodies were recovered today not far from where they were last seen.
