Rafael Nadal reaches 7th French Open final

Rafael Nadal reached his seventh French Open final in eight years with a destruction of compatriot David Ferrer on Friday.

Nadal won the all-Spain semifinal matchup 6-2, 6-2, 6-1 over the No. 6 seed at Roland Garros. He can win a record seventh French title, breaking the record he currently shares with Bjorn Borg.

Nadal will take on one of his two big rivals, Roger Federer or top seed Novak Djokovic. Federer can reach a sixth French Open final, while Djokovic is looking to win a fourth consecutive Grand Slam win.
