Quebec toddler survives 3-storey fall

A two-and-a-half year-old boy has survived a fall from a third-storey window.

The accident happened Tuesday in Senneterre, a small community about 600 kilometres northwest of Montreal.

A spokesman for Quebec provincial police said the boy managed to climb up onto the window frame and pushed out the screen.

He fell onto the roof over the balcony on the first floor, and then landed on some grass.

The toddler suffered only minor injuries.

Police said no charges will be laid.
