Man arrested in connection to stabbing in LaSalle

Montreal police have arrested a man in connection with an attempted killing in the LaSalle borough of Montreal on Thursday morning.

The victim, a man in his 30s, showed up at his parents' house on Lyette Street around 5:30 a.m. with stab wounds to his stomach. He refused to cooperate with police.

Police have arrested a suspect in his mid-40s who lived upstairs from the victim.

The suspect is expected to face charges of assault with a weapon and attempted murder.

Authorities do not fear for the victim's life.
