Jenna Talackova, Transgender Beauty Queen, To Be Vancouver Pride Parade Grand Marshal

What's Jenna Talackova Up To Now?

Jenna Talackova may not have won the title of Miss Universe Canada, but the transgender beauty queen has received another honour: she will be one of three grand marshals at Vancouver's Pride Parade.

On August 5, Talackova -- alongside Bill Monroe and posthumously David Holtzman -- will take to Vancouver's west end to celebrate.

Talackova gained international recognition after being disqualified from the Miss Universe Canada pageant once it was realized she had undergone sexual reassignment surgery. A lawsuit and a change in rules allowed her to participate.

On top of her Pride gig, it's also rumoured the beauty queen will get her own reality TV show.
