François Legault, the party's leader, said accessibility and quality can be achieved with a $200 dollar annual increase, for the next five years.
Talks between the government and student associations broke off at the end of May.
The Liberal government had first announced plans to raise tuition fees, beginning in September 2012, by $325 a year over five years. Later, it ammended that hike, but not the final amount. It stretch the increase over seven years, charging $254 per year.
Legault is also asking the province to suspend Bill 78 which limits the right to demonstrate and imposes stiff fines for organizers who break the law.
