Olympics spectator arrested after apparent altercation with family of Australian cyclist

LONDON - An Olympics spectator has been fined after being arrested following an altercation at the London Games Velodrome.

Police say the 33-year-old man, who was not identified, was fined after being ejected from the venue on Thursday night with two other people.

They are reported to have been hurling abuse at the family of Australian cyclist Kaarle McCulloch, who won bronze in the women's team sprint with Anna Meares.

Games organizers said: "We won't tolerate abusive behaviour in our venues."
