Spain secures spot in men's Olympic water polo quarterfinals with 11-9 win over Greece

LONDON - Filipe Perrone Rocha scored twice to power Spain to an 11-9 win over Greece and into the quarterfinals of men's Olympic water polo.

The win gives Spain six points from four matches and makes them the second team from Group A after leader Croatia to secure a spot in the knockout stage.

Greece has two points from four matches in London. It can still advance by winning its final preliminary-stage game on Monday against Australia.

Spain wraps up the group stage against Italy.
