Day 13

Despite an agonizing defeat against Team USA, Canada's women's soccer team bounced back to win a bronze medal on Thursday morning in Coventry. Later that afternoon, Wrestler Tonya Verbeek added another silver to Canada's medal haul. She lost out to Japan's Saori Yoshida in the 55-kg class.

Day 12

Adam van Koeverden and Mark Oldershaw won two medals on the water for Canada. Van Koeverden took a silver in the men's K1-1000m while Oldershaw fought back to a bronze in the C1-1000m. Canada's Carol Huynh, later made it a three medal day, winning a bronze in women's wrestling, 48kg class.

Day 11

Derek Drouin jumped his way into a bronze medal in high jump, Canada's first track and field medal.

Day 8

Canada's Rosie MacClennan broke the gold medal drought in the women's trampoline. In the pool, Ryan Cochrane delivered a silver in the 1500m while on the velodrome the women's team pursuit edged out Australia by the narrowest of margins for a bronze medal.

Day 6

The women's eight also won a silver in their event and equaled their male counterparts. The team could not catch the Americans, who remain undefeated for more than six years.

Day 5

More success in the water for Team Canada. The men's eight rowing team won silver after a shaky start. Back in the pool, Brent Hayden raced his way to a bronze medal in a competitive 100m freestyle.

Day 4

Canada's bronze bonanza came on Day 4. The team picked up medals in judo, weighlifting and diving.

In judo, Quebec's Antoine Valois-Fortier beat American Travis Stevens in an emotional match for the bronze.

Christine Girard lifted her way onto the podium and became Canada's first weightlifter to win an Olympic medal.

Canada's divers added another medal to the pile. This time it was Meaghan Benfeito and Rosaline Filion who took home the bronze in the 10m synchronized event.

Day 2

Canada's first medal came in synchronized diving. Jennifer Abel and Emilie Heymans won a bronze in the 3-metre synchronized event. It also put Heymans into the record books as the only female diver to medal in four consecutive Olympics.
