Montreal Fashion Week Announces Full Spring 2013 Schedule

Montreal Fashion Week Announces Full Schedule

Fashion lovers in Montreal get ready: the final schedule for Montreal Fashion Week has been released. And the program, which will take place from September 4 to 7, is incredible.

For the first time, the show is happening at the Arsenal Contemporary Art Complex (an architectural gem that will surely complement the details of the ready to wear clothing).

Denis Gagnon, Rudsak and Ève Gravel, who is celebrating her label's 10-year anniversary, are three of the international designers who will showcase their wares. And innovative items from MARTIN LIM (the winner of last season's Mercedes-Benz StartUp), DUY, Tavan & Mitto and UNTTLD, Travis Taddeo, Anastasia Lomonova, Annie 50 and Anomal Couture will also prance down the runway. Urban fashion, a particular strength of Quebec designers, will be showcased, including items from Mélissa Nepton, Iris Setlakwe, Nisse, Symbiose by Hinda A. and Rachel Sin.

And under the "Exhibit" concept, an initiative that was introduced in February 2012, six emerging designers at the start of their careers will display some of their creations, including those by atelier b., Tamé, La Raffinerie, LaLaYeah, DAVMANI and Dare by Gwen Madiba.

While the 2013 collections won't be available until next year, you can rock these hot-off-the-runway makeup and hair trends all summer long. The best part? They're easy to recreate at home. Here, the behind-the-scenes details to this season's sizzling summer showstoppers:
