Holt Renfrew Celebrates 175 Years: Limited Edition Sweatshirts And Pop-Up Shops Across Canada

More Holt Renfrew Anniversary Swag, This Time In Pop-Up Shop Form

As if we weren't already excited about Holt Renfrew's 175 anniversary, they've gone and upped the game... again.

It started with designer collaborations in their trademark fuchsia and now, they're hitting the road and hosting a mobile fashion tour across Canada. Their travelling pop-up shops will hit Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and will start in Toronto on September 7 (in the hipster mecca -- Trinity Bellwoods Park).

The pop-ups will sell limited-edition sweatshirts that are exclusive to Holt Renfrew. The sweaters have been designed by internationally renowned graphic designers and come in five colours. They launch on September 6, at the Holt Renfrew's 175th anniversary celebration at the Toronto Bloor Street location.

One of the designers is a HuffPost Canada favourite, Alex Viau, from Vancouver. We first featured Viau as half of the brother/designer duo behind Fresh Train Co.The young Canadian brand is so effortless and easy, which is just our style (so needless to say, we're delighted to see Viau's name as a part of this collaboration).

Other commissioned artists include Joachim Baan, Justin Broadbent, Jonathan Mak Long, Andrew and Matt McCracken and Jamie Webster. The sweatshirts will retail for $75.

Along with their shirts, the artists produced videos that explain their designs (which can be viewed on holtsmuse.com). For more details on the stops of the tour head to HoltRenfrew.com.

Here are the six sweatshirts that will be available:
