Sneak Peek: Banana Republic's Anna Karenina-Inspired Collection

Banana Republic Releases An Anna Karenina Inspired Collection

As we gear up for the ultimate star-studded party in Toronto, Banana Republic announces their timely new Anna Karenina-inspired collection. The much-anticipated film debuts at the Toronto International Film Festival and is set for wide release November 16. It stars Keira Knightley and Jude Law.

And styled by twice-Academy Award-nominated Anna Karenina costume designer, Jacqueline Durran, the line features pieces for men and women, including polished, feminine looks for her and tailored styles for him. Taking notes from the film’s high-society period, the capsule presents a modern-day collection including alluring embellishments, luxe fabrics, and romantic styles.

“I was given the unique chance to apply my passion for period styles to a collection that translates to fashion today,” says Durran. The range includes statement accessories and apparel fashioned with velvet, faux fur, lace, and a touch of sparkle that embody the style of the era.
