Real Wedding: The Romantic, Stunning Nuptials Of A Writer In Windsor

When I started my gig as a wedding blogger at 2 For Couples in January, I figured it was only natural that my upcoming nuptials would be featured on the blog. It's kind of strange, though, to be the bride and the blogger for this week's Real Wedding!

My now-husband, Dave, and I got married in my hometown of Windsor, Ontario in April. We did our "First Look" photos in a park where I used to play as a little girl, always on the look-out for brides and grooms posing for pictures on Saturdays in the spring and summer. It was very meaningful to have my own wedding photos happen in that very park. We lucked out with the incredible pink magnolia tree that was in full bloom -- it was a stunning burst of color and perfectly on-theme with our gray and pink color palette.

We said "I do" in the same church where my where my grandparents and my parents got married, then danced the night away with friends and family, soaking up as much as we could of our love-filled day. Here are a few snaps of the day from Manifesto Photography.
