As the 2012 Quebec election campaign draws to a close the leaders of the major parties have cast their votes.
PQ Leader Pauline Marois told reporters at her polling station in Charlevoix-Côte-de-Beaupré that she hopes tonight will be historic because Quebec will elect its first female leader.

Liberal Leader Jean Charest, hoarse from a cold, said in Sherbrooke he was still hoping for victory despite polls predicting a PQ victory.
In L'Assomption, CAQ Leader Francois Legault said he was confident of victory and happy Quebec will be casting aside debate over referendums and committing to real change.
