Lady Gaga's fame was born out this way, baby. Well, sorta.

The Mother Monster is returning to Vancouver to launch the "Born This Way Ball" world tour on Jan. 11, 2013, the Vancouver Sun reports.

Vancouver is also where she first released her debut album back in 2008.

Lady Gaga's tour will then wend its way down the coast to Tacoma, San Jose and Washington, traversing North America until March 2013.

Ticket prices haven't been confirmed yet but promoter Live Nation says they'll be confirmed on Sept. 18.

Lady Gaga's history with Vancouver runs deep. In a 2008 interview with radio personality Nardwuar the Human Serviette, she said she released her "The Fame" album in the West Coast city and that it went to number one the same day.

"The Fame," of course, is the album that helped make Gaga an international success with hits like "Just Dance," "Poker Face" and "LoveGame."

There's no word yet on openers for Lady Gaga's North American tour, Spin reports, but suffice it to say that tickets will be snapped up fast.
