You guys. YOU GUYS! You, yes you, can go see Sir Elton John in the flesh on Saturday, September 8 at Holt Renfrew.
Here's the catch: he's only going to be in Toronto at the Bloor Street location at 11:30 a.m. If you're in the city and have nothing to do, skip your brunch and go see Sir John and David Furnish celebrate the launch of their limited-edition candle collection (they designed it exclusively for Holts).
The candles come in two scents and retail for $50. A portion of proceeds will support the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Why is Elton in town, you ask? Outside of launching this candle collection, he'll be hosting Fashion Cares' final gala on Sunday night. The event donates money to the Elton John AIDS foundation and the AIDS Committee of Toronto. The night will also feature musical performances by Scissor Sisters and fashion displays by designers like Dean and Dan Caten of DSQUARED2.
