The Toronto International Film Festival is a time for celebrities to show off their best designer dresses, jewels and accessories -- much like all the other red-carpet events.
But what's different is that TIFF is one of the biggest events Canadians can claim as our own. Because of this homegrown vibe, we watch the red carpets closely, comment on who's wearing who and who looks the best/worst.
This year there were some definite letdowns, but there were also some shining moments. Emma Watson in Canadian designer Erdem was one of our favourites, as well as everyone's not-so-secret crush, Ryan Gosling who looked as good as he always does. And of course, who can forget Kristen Stewart's stellar 'On The Road' red-carpet moment.
