Alberta Beef Recall: Reaction To Sixth XL Foods Recall Expansion

The recall of ground beef from Edmonton-based producer XL Foods has been expanded for the sixth time.

It also includes unlabelled ground beef products and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency recommends that consumers who aren't sure if they have affected product check with the stores that they purchased beef from or throw it out.

People reacted to the expansion of recalls on Twitter, some questioning the role of food inspectors to others suggesting it was time to invest in chicken.
