HALIFAX - Nova Scotia will provide an update Tuesday on the state of the province's finances.
Finance Minister Maureen MacDonald will deliver the first fiscal update for 2012-2013 since the provincial government released its budget earlier this year.
When the NDP government handed down its $9.5-billion budget in the spring, it projected a deficit of $211.2 million.
In August, MacDonald said the government was on track to balance the province's books by next spring.
The update will be MacDonald's first since she became finance minister in May.
