Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty has quit his job unexpectedly.

McGuinty made the announcement he is stepping down at an emergency caucus meeting at Queen's Park in Toronto on Monday night. The province's Liberal government is currently embroiled in a scandal over the cancellation of two power plants.
