Puppies Help Lost Boy Survive In Forest

Kyle Camp, a 10-year-old boy with Down's Syndrome lost in Alabama, survived a night in the woods because of four puppies.

Rescuers found the boy, who was missing for about 18 hours, huddled without shoes with the dogs, reported local TV station WBRC.

"I heard the dogs barking again and followed him down there and started hollering for the puppies and I hollered for him and he hollered back. He was in the creek about a half a mile over the ridge," said Jamie Swinney, one of the 150 volunteers who helped look for the boy.

"The main thing was getting him to his dad. That's where I wanted to get him to was to his dad," Swinney told WAFF, another local TV station.

According to reports Kyle survived the incident with only minor injuries.
