UPDATE - Oct. 29, 2012: Hans Krahenbuhl, 79, has been charged with manslaughter.

Vancouver homicide investigators are looking into the death of an 84-year-old woman who was injured after being pushed by another resident of her care home.

Police said the woman was "critically injured" at an East Vancouver care home on Thursday afternoon. She was taken to the hospital where she died, said a news release Friday.

A 79-year-old man has been arrested in this case.
