Videos Of Hurricane Sandy: From News Bloopers To Destruction

WATCH: Sandy Videos, From News Bloopers To Destruction

As the remnants of superstorm Sandy pushed northeast into the Canadian maritime provinces, millions of people along the U.S. eastern seaboard woke to scenes of extensive wind and flood damage. The North American death toll from the hurricane topped 30 by midday, including a Toronto woman who was struck and killed by blowing sign debris in the city's west end.

Millions were without power: 7.4 million across the Eastern U.S.; tens of thousands in Ontario alone. Flights were cancelled, New York's subway was crippled and the clean-up began after a record-breaking storm surge sent a 14-foot (4.2 metres) thrust of water into Lower Manhattan.

The storm was extensively filmed by amateur and professionals alike.

Reuters compiled a time-lapsed portrait of Hurricane Sandy's progress, while there's video of the heavy snowfall blanketing Tennessee and North Carolina. You'll see all these clips and more in the videos above and below.
