Calling All Aspiring Designers: Target And TFI Want You
TFI

If you're an aspiring designer who wants to get their styles showcased in a major way, Target and Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) want to hear from you.

The two organizations have announced they're partnering up for the annual New Labels Design Competition -- a national style showdown that shines a spotlight on Canada's budding fashion talent. The winner will receive $25,000 from TFI supporter Suzanne Rogers and will see their line sold at various Target locations across Canada in 2014.

“We are always looking for ways to elevate the competition and we are thrilled to have Target on board to support New Labels this year,” says Susan Langdon, executive director, Toronto Fashion Incubator. “With a guaranteed in-store collection on the line, the stakes are even higher for our young designers. Target is known for their exclusive designer partnerships, and we are so pleased to be able to give one of our own such an amazing opportunity.”

Applications are now being accepted here (the deadline to apply is December 3). To learn more, shoot an email to tfi@fashionincubator.com.
