Cowboys Dance Hall is synonymous with Calgary's western-scene party scene. It boasts itself as the originator of "where playboy meets country" and the stage for "your most prosperous business deals, your most amusing mistake and your fondest memories."

Cowboys is no stranger to celebrity appearances and scantily-clad ladies, so we're sure Kardashian will fit right in. Prince Harry was caught in a media firestorm after smooching a waitress at the infamous club back in 2007 and multiple celebrities have partied at Cowboys while visiting Calgary, including Samuel L. Jackson, Brad Pitt, Snoop Dogg and Tom Selleck.

Not everyone is thrilled with the idea of Kardashian coming to the city, however.

Calgarians took to Twitter to express their disappointment with the quasi-star soon to be in our midst.

"Oprah and Kim Kardashian are coming to #yyc. Can I go with what's behind door #3?" tweeted @jaythestory.

@DarrenZed called on anyone planning to attend to unfollow him immediately.

"If anyonein #YYC is reading this and buying a $29 ticket to see Kim Kardashian at Cowboys stop following me right now," he tweeted.

Kardashian appears with various family members on the reality television show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," as well as promoting her own clothing and fragrance lines. But many are baffled by the level of fame she has achieved and whether she deserves such attention.

Love her or hate her, she is one of the biggest names in the world," explained Scarlet Lee with Penny Lane Entertainment, the event organizer, to the Calgary Sun.

“We were very lucky she fit us into her schedule, it took a lot of pieces coming together,” said Lee.

There is no word so far if boyfriend Kanye West will join Kardashian.
