Styling Tips For The Millennial Groom

Never before have grooms injected so much personal style into their wedding day attire.

Here are some style tips for millennial grooms who are forgoing the penguin suit rental and opting for dapper "I do" duds.

1. Mix and match colours, patterns and textures for a sharp, GQ-approved ensemble. Pair a gingham shirt with a plaid bow tie, or striped suspenders with a polka dot pocket square.

2. From airplane cufflinks to a tie bar engraved with the bride and groom's names and wedding date, there are many opportunity to incorporate personal touches into your look.

3. Get creative when it comes to your boutonnière. It will likely include a flower that's featured in the bride's bouquet, but you can add details like ribbon, feathers or felt to make it unique.

4. Invest in a pair of awesomely colourful socks -- they'll make the requisite shot of the bride and groom's feet way more interesting!
