The TMX Group Ltd. (TSX:X), which operates the TSX, says systems are back to operating normally after the setback.
Wednesday's glitch had caused both the headline S&P/TSX composite index numbers, as well as some specific stock prices to be displayed incorrectly through some sources, including on the TSX website.
Companies with ticker symbols beginning with A to L were not being updated on this data feed, meaning that some clients were receiving out-of-date information.
The TMX said actual stock trading was unaffected by the problem.
In November 2011, a similar technical glitch occurred affecting symbols beginning with letters M to Z.
