Since the first national day of action on Dec. 10, Idle No More has spread to every corner of Canada and even some international locales.
Fueled by social media and frustration with the government, indigenous protesters and their supporters have been holding rallies, flash mobs and blockades without rest. Their demands? Treaty rights respected, protection for the environment and some meaningful discussion between aboriginal leaders and Ottawa.
