Dish.fm App Tells You Best Dishes To Order

Wondering What To Order? Ask This App

Indecisive diners rejoice! Dish.fm, a free mobile app, is looking to take the guesswork out of your restaurant order by showing you the top-rated dish (or dessert or drink) at an establishment.

It does so by analyzing reviews from Foursquare, Yelp and other sites to spit out reliable recommendations, as opposed to other apps that rely solely on user-generated content. It also sources food porn, er, photos when available, from tools like Instagram.

But are the most popular dishes necessarily the best? It's tough to say, though the nudge in the direction of what others like could just help you sift through menus with dozens of options. With Dish.fm, you can search for specific restaurants or peruse a map for one nearby, then check out its dishes with the best reviews. Users can also add their own reviews and opinions.

The app currently concentrates on New York and San Francisco, but intends to launch soon in Toronto and Vancouver, according to Forbes. In the meantime, here are more food apps you can't go wrong with.
